Every dog is unique, but some dogs are truly one-of-a-kind! If your best friend is a mixed breed, mutt, hybrid or simply doesn’t look like any of our standard
Dog Breed Silhouettes, we will be happy to create a custom silhouette for you. Once we’ve drawn and digitized your silhouette, it will be available for you to use in personalizing any product whenever you visit the
Best Friends Studios website. (We also do cats and horses!)
COST: One-time fee of $18 for each custom silhouette
How To Order Your Custom Silhouette:
- Place your silhouette order on this page. Before checking out, order the items you would like personalized with your new silhouette. (Please indicate CUSTOM SILHOUETTE in the field for "Favorite Dog Breed.")
- Take side profile photograph of your pet, preferably against a simple, well-lit background. Ideally your pet should NOT be looking at the camera.

Send your photo (JPEG or TIF format) to ellen@bestfriendsstudios.com. Feel free to submit several photos if you are unsure which will make the best silhouette.

We will send you a proof of your silhouette (typically 3-5 days) for approval.

Once you have approved your custom silhouette, we will start production on any products that you’ve ordered.
(Please note that your custom pet silhouette can be used to personalize any silhouette product on the Best Friends Studios website. However, all pet silhouettes created by Best Friends Studios will remain the property of Best Friends Studios and are not intended for free use. Modification and/or reuse of your custom silhouette for other purposes or on other publications/websites is expressly prohibited.)
