What methods of payment do you accept?
Best Friends Studios accepts Visa and MasterCard (sorry, we no longer accept American Express). In addition, we now accept checks and money orders by mail. Please note that orders will not be processed until your check has cleared. If you need an item quickly, choose the credit card option for payment.
How safe is my credit card information?
Best Friends Studios makes every effort to provide a safe and secure shopping experience for our customers. We use Authorized.net to handle all of our credit card payment processing; we encrypt information that goes to and from our webserver. Please see our Security Policy and Privacy Policy for details.
When will my order arrive?
Since most of our products are custom or personalized, turnaround time will vary. Check our new
Turnaround Times page for the most accurate estimates for each of our studios. We always email you a shipping confirmation as soon as your order leaves our studios. All items are shipped with tracking so that you can check the status of your shipment. See our

What if my order has been damaged during shipment?
If your order has been damaged during transit, please contact us at sales@bestfriendsstudios.com within 48 hours of receiving your package. See our Return Policy for more information.
Can I ship my order as a gift?
Of course! We will happily giftwrap your item and ship it anywhere you request. Please choose the giftwrap option at checkout. Due to customs regulations, items shipped outside the U.S. cannot be giftwrapped.
How do I care/clean for my items?
Each of our handcrafted items requires different care. Check the individual product listings for complete instructions on cleaning and care. If you still have questions, please let us know.
Do you charge sales tax?
Our studios are now both located in Missouri, so all Missouri residents will be charged the state tax rate of 8.425%. Everywhere else is sales tax free!
Do you have a mailing list?
Yes, and we’d love to have you on it! Our list is for communicating purposes only. As we unveil new products and designs or run special promotions, we’d love to let you know about them via our email newsletter Web Wags. We value privacy as much as the next gal and will never sell or give your email address to an outside company. See our privacy policy for further information.
Why do you provide most of your customer support by email?
Best Friends Studios is a home-based business with studios in two different locations. Because we’re both juggling kids and/or husbands, an assortment of furry best friends and crazy schedules, email correspondence is the best (and quickest!) way to contact us.
